Welcome! You have arrived at the home of the Eastern Michigan Arabian Association.  We are a Non-Profit organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of Arabian and Half-Arabian horses. Our club is committed to promoting good fellowship within the horse community, while furthering the development and education of our members.  Arabian Horse Owners, Riders, Trainers, and other aficionados are encouraged to join our club and participate in our equestrian activities.

We host four non-rated Arabian and Half-Arabian shows each year. Our dressage division is open to all breeds. We offer a wide variety of classes that provide the perfect environment for starting a young horse or rider, as well as a strong level of competition for more experienced equestrians. At our shows, you will compete in front of some of the best judges in the business, but at a far more affordable cost than Class A!  Established in 1988, we are one of the largest Arabian Horse organizations in Michigan.  Browse this site, and see what exciting things are happening!

  • Everyone will be required to sign a liability waiver at check-in. In the past this was included on the entry form everyone signed.
  • Also, check-in and securing payment is REQUIRED before entering the show ring. This will be strictly enforced this year. You will not be allowed in the ring without checking in.

Instructions for Online Entry:
The first show should be posted and online entries available the first week of May.
To enter owner/rider/horse information, as well as create your show entry, follow these steps:
  1. Go to www.showmyhorse.com
  2. You will need to register in order to view or enter horse shows. Click on New User and a form will come up asking for email address, password, etc. After registering, you will use the email address and password you created to log in.
  3. Select "Horse Shows" from the menu on the left side of the screen.
  4. Set the state to Michigan on the next screen. EMAA 1 will come up on the list; click on it to start entering information.
To sign up for the Weekend High Point, Dressage High Score, or Versatility please use these class numbers:
  • Weekend High Point - class 901
  • Dressage High Score - class 902
  • Versatility class – 903
  • Liberty (MSU show only) - class 900
The office fee will automatically be added to your entry.
When entering a list of classes, if you get an error on one class (for instance an age group), you can't just uncheck the class.  You need to use the little drop down box on the right and change it from "show" to "scratch".  If you do this you can continue without having to re-select all the classes.
When the entry is completed (even if you only enter horse and rider information) an email will be sent to EMAA and a copy to the email address you provided.  EMAA does not accept online payments, so at the end it will be necessary to indicate if you will be mailing a check or paying at the show.
**Disclaimer ** Please be aware that the total amount due may change upon arrival at the show.  Please confirm your classes and fees with the show office when you arrive at the show.
Online entries will be available until the Wednesday before the show, but pre-entry pricing is only good thru the Saturday before the show.  After Wednesday, the show office DOES NOT have access to changes made using the online entry.
Stall Reservations:
Reserving/holding stalls will require payment in advance by mailing a check.
To reserve your stalls use the

If you have reserved stalls but are unable to attend PLEASE call no later than (Thursday PM) to cancel your stalls.  (Otherwise we cannot refund the stalls) Remember we will always have stalls available, however if you are unable to reserve in advance we cannot guarantee group stalling.
