EMAA I Cancelled

Hello EMAA,

With a heavy heart, I regret to inform you that our first show, EMAA I, at Ingham County Fairgrounds on May 15th-17th has been cancelled. This decision was not taken lightly, and the board felt it is in the best interest of our members, exhibitors, judges, workers, spectators, and vendors to cancel the show.

I know that this will bring significant disappointment to many of you and I appreciate your respect and support. This is a very uncertain time with rapidly changing developments and your safety is our top priority. It was also discussed that many of our members are currently serving on the front lines of this pandemic and others have been out of work. Those who are not fortunate to have their horses at home, have not been able to even visit their horses for several weeks. Along with safety, we also had to consider the turnout of the show and the effects on our finances.

Our facilities and vendors have been exceptionally understanding throughout this process. At this time we will be following the events as they continue to unfold. Please note that regulations and directives change daily and there is no way of telling at this time what will be coming in the following months. We will take it one day at a time and keep you updated as things become more certain.

We thank you for your understanding and patience during this difficult time. Please follow us on Facebook and watch for our email blasts for the latest updates. We encourage you to share your videos and photos of your Arabian/Half Arabian horses with us on our Facebook page.

On behalf of myself and the entire EMAA board, please stay safe, Danielle Hawes, President
